The player has the choice of building their team with 7 unique classes and 3 additional in Adventure Mode. The battle system in Live by the Sword revolves around 5 vs 5 battles. Tactician Mode that places you in odd battle scenarios to solve. Adventure Mode that has you building the world as you explore it. Story Mode that features a group of adventurers who discover an evil plot. Live by the Sword: Tactics features many ways to play: Are you up for the challenge of becoming a true Tactician? You, the player, must become more skilled to achieve victory. Characters do not gain experience points and you cannot collect overpowered equipment to easily bypass difficult fights. The game is a new take on Tactical / Strategy gameplay. It’s a journey that will test not only a brotherly bond but the player’s tactical skills as they form a team and go on this heroic quest. The game is set in a world recovering from the ravages of war, you must navigate the treacherous landscape to prevent further turmoil.
